ILEX Systems
Advancing AI infrastructure, posthuman systems, and embodied intelligence

Exploring human acceleration in the age of machine intelligence

ILEX Systems is a research and development laboratory advancing AI infrastructure, robotics, and posthuman systems. We partner with leading companies, research institutions, and cultural initiatives to build the technologies, frameworks, and experiences shaping our transition into AGI.

About
ILEX Systems operates at the frontier of AI research and embodied systems. We work across AI model infrastructure, robotics, consumer hardware, and cultural technologies that define human–machine interaction in the 21st century.
Led by AI and robotics leader Holly Peck, ILEX pushes the boundaries of physical and cultural AI — to remember what makes us human, and scale it into the future.

Focus
Embodied Intelligence
Developing hardware, data collection systems, simulation retargeting methods, and model integration for humanoid robotics.
AI Infrastructure
Engineering large-scale AI research and inference platforms, model interoperability, and scalable pipelines for production AI systems.
Cultural Technology
Researching posthuman systems, meaning-making, memory, and the cultural frameworks that shape human–AI collaboration.

Projects
Building a hardware–software platform for task retargeting, robotic learning, and embodied intelligence.
Scaling AI deployment with the internet’s largest AI model inference API (160k serverless models).
Development of open standards for embodied AI through (ASTRA) Autonomous Systems, Technologies, and Robotics Alliance.
Advancing cultural technology and embodied AI research, showcased in Cybernetic Singularity—a multi-artist AI and robotics exhibition.

Leadership
Holly Peck
Founder/CEO
While excavating Neanderthal bones in France, Holly became captivated by the ancient question of what makes us human, and how intelligence sparks into being. Today, she’s a founder, investor, and roboticist with over a decade at the frontier of AI and robotics. A Princeton graduate (BA) and 5× Microsoft MVP in AI, she was a research engineer at Kindred AI (RL for warehouse robots) before joining Sanctuary AI as founding team member and Director of Human-Robot Interaction (HRI). There, she filed the company’s first patent on affective, humanoid interfaces and built the cognitive architecture of humanoid robots. She later led special projects at Soul Machines, securing Hollywood’s first digital likeness monetization deal with CAA, and founded Bytez — now the internet’s largest model inference API (160k+ models) and powering CVPR, NeurIPS, and ICML. Today she leads Embodi, building the hardware and data infrastructure for physical AI, while investing in breakthrough AI and hardware founders.
